APPOINTMENT PREPARATION

To get the most out of your treatment please read the following

  • • Vitamin A, Glycolic acids and retinol used on the treatment area must be paused 4 weeks prior to your appointment.

Brows: The use of brow-enhancing serums must be paused 4 weeks prior to your treatment.

Brows: No tinting or brow lamination 4 weeks prior to your treatment.

Lip Blush: Lip filler will not impact your treatment however any lip filler must be done at least 4 weeks before or after your lip blush appointment.

  • • Any cosmetic botox in the treatment area must be done at least 2 weeks either side of your appointment.

    • No direct sun exposure or tanning products on the treatment area 2 weeks before your appointment.

  • • Cease intake of fish oil supplements 1 week before your treatment.

Brows: You may have your skin waxed/tidied prior to your appointment if you choose to but it is not required. If you choose to do this please ensure this is not within 1 week of your appointment.

Lip Blush: If you are prone to cold sores you must take preventative anti-viral medication such as Zovirax 5 days before, on the day of, and 5 days after your Lip Blush treatment (or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist). Please be aware that if you have the herpes simplex virus, the treatment can trigger an outbreak. Taking an anti-viral medication will minimise the risk. You can purchase an over-the-counter anti-viral medication from your local pharmacy.

Lip Blush: You are required to gently exfoliate the treatment area for up to 5 days prior. Keep your lips well-hydrated with lip balm 1 week prior to your appointment.

    • Avoid any blood thinning medications 72 hours before your appointment. This includes Nurofen, Ibuprofen, Aspirin and Niacin. Please consult your doctor if this is an issue.

  • • Do not consume any caffeine or alcohol at least 24 hours before your appointment as this can cause excessive bleeding and affect your healed results.

  • • Wash your hair the morning of your appointment. You won’t be able to get your brows wet for 10 days following your treatment, this can make hair washing more difficult.

    • Ensure you have eaten and are well hydrated before your appointment.
