Cosmetic tattooing is a semi-permanent treatment designed to enhance your natural beauty and mimic the look of make-up. This treatment is highly customisable. Depending on the clients desired results, cosmetic tattooing can be created to appear soft and natural or more bold and defined. Our treatments are carried out using a specially designed machine to implant pigment into the dermis layer of the skin.

All supplies used are disposable and immediately discarded after each client's session, including sterile needles from sealed packets for single use only.
Our salon utilises hospital-grade disinfectants and cleaning products.
Additionally, we provide thorough aftercare instructions to ensure high standards are upheld even after clients leave the salon.

Colour retention varies from client to client depending on skin type, skin condition and lifestyle. Excessive sun exposure will soften the colour of your tattoo faster. Applying a sunscreen of SPF-50 after healing is required to help keep colour true. Adhering to your appointment preparation and aftercare will also impact the longevity of your treatment. Typically, cosmetic tattoo can last anywhere from 1-4 years. For best results Coco Cosmetic Tattoo recommends getting your tattoo refreshed anywhere from 12-24 months.

If you have an active outbreak of cold sores on your lips on the day of your appointment, we will not be able to proceed with the treatment.
If you are prone to cold sores you must take preventative anti-viral medication such as Zovirax 5 days before, on the day of, and 5 days after your lip blush treatment (or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist).
Please be aware that if you have the herpes simplex virus, the treatment can trigger an outbreak. Taking an anti-viral medication will minimise the risk. You can purchase an over-the-counter anti-viral medication from your local pharmacy.
